FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Who the strategy is for, what you need before you start, the principles behind it, and the risks you should know about.

01

Who is this for?

It is suitable for both Bitcoin newbies and veterans. You decide the amount to invest (e.g. from $10 to $100K or more) according to your own situation and appetite.

02

What are the prerequisites?

Do your own research. I set up this strategy after doing both technical and macro-economic analysis.

Once you have a solid understanding and macro view on Bitcoin, you won't and shouldn't be bothered by micro details and noise, and you can be more patient and certain when executing your strategy.

03

What are the principles?

  • Make DCA (dollar cost averaging) your basis, and adjust it to your situation (for myself, I stop it at peak times).
  • Don't predict, as you can't. Just follow the plan, and be flexible (stop whenever you feel so).
  • No leverage. Enjoy fluctuations. Price going down is not necessarily a bad thing if you don't have leverage.
04

What are the risks and caveats?

  • No leverage, no prediction, and only invest what you can afford to lose.
  • Your view and strategy could still need review and adjustment over the course, especially in this unprecedented era of AI + Crypto.
  • Most DCA strategies lack flexibility, which can impact your overall profit significantly.

See “01 / The results” on the home page, which compares the strategy with buying and holding Bitcoin, US stocks, bonds, Treasury bills and gold over the same period.
